The Certificate IV in Business has been designed for students wishing to develop the special skills and knowledge required to successfully pursue a career in business. The areas of study have been selected and clustered to give the candidate a good introduction to business management and general business administration. These carefully selected study areas also enable the candidate to develop the necessary skill set to make a confident entry to lower/middle management. This course is designed to lead into the BSB50215- Diploma of Business, giving the candidate a rich and full compilation of business skills and tools required in this age of the “knowledge is power” world of business.
To achieve a Certificate IV in Business, 1 core unit and 9 elective units must be completed.

Vocational Outcome
Having achieved the BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business qualification, candidates would be seeking employment in various business enterprises leading to and centering around sales & marketing, project management, various administration roles and a personal development to a more senior position within a medium to large corporate environment.

About the Educator
Gary Mooney
Gary Mooney started as a workplace trainer, in the U.K., in the early 1990s. Returning to Australia in 1997, he worked on the workplace trainer programs for the 2000 Olympic Games. In 2001, he worked in Japan, primarily on English language Business programs in Tokyo. Returning again in 2004, he focused primarily on English Language development courses for academic and business colleges.
Currently, he is delivering the Certificate IV and Diploma in Business Administration at AH&B.
